Hi lovers — that’s right. I am claiming you all as my lover. [Don’t make it weird, just let the Leo in Venus things happen…]
There is quite the pressure on Venus as she has shifted signs, and it is going to be felt this week. There is a deep rewiring around allowing ourselves to let in love in that celebrates our vastness, our magick, the pieces that make us unique.
With the level of expansion that is occurring to Venus this week, I must emphasize the need for integration. What I mean by that is.. as things open up broadly — we cannot sustain that level of openness unless we integrate. Touching on last weeks astrology, you’re building your heart muscles. This week is like a shot of steroids that may jump start the process, but you cannot become reliant on artificial energy.
Summer Solstice rolls in with Chiron moving into Taurus — old worthiness wounds, abundance pains, and scarcity mindsets are collectively surfacing.

The Transits
Firstly, I must name the Venus transits this week are all interwoven. I am breaking down each piece individually — but know that all of this is moving together.
✦ Monday, June 15 — Venus sextile Uranus
This is the jump start to Venus that can feel quite exciting yet unsettling in the same breath. This is akin the brain's central nervous system being flooded with serotonin, dopamine, and norepinephrine. You may find that there are artificial ways to recreate this, but this is purely organic astrological expression.
This is new mental pathways interwoven with the hearts yearning being developed. Uranus in Gemini has been inviting in so many new mental possibilities. Stopping the old loops in their track with random downloads.
This specific transit is inviting in new ways of communicating matters of the heart — feeling an electric pulse that is guiding us in new unexpected ways.
This is quite flirty, freeing, and creatively stimulating.
✦ Tuesday, June 16 — Venus trine Neptune
Insert rose colored glasses. Whenever Neptune is involved with Venus we take those lovely rosy shades and surrender into this new gaze. This is intoxicating to say the least.
There is a dissolving of the guard around our heart, which in tandem with Uranus creates an easier time to explore new expressions of love. Venus in Leo wants to be seen. Dancing in the moonlight, naked and unafraid of her fiery light — Neptune celebrates this wild and untamed expression of our heart.
The more you radically choose yourself, the more self love you devote to you from you — the more irresistible you become. Neptune in Aries is pouring that unconditional love inwards and Venus in Leo is dancing with that inner flame — begging for it to be seen, worshipped and celebrated.
Now, I wouldn’t be a responsible astrologer if I didn’t bring in the crushing reality of this transit. It will be easy to be swept away in the ecstasy that is present here. Everything is a bit more brighter, saturated, amplified. Don’t bypass red flags just because it feels good.

✦ Wednesday, June 17 — Venus opposes Pluto
Here comes the heavy hitter — in a good way I promise.
Pluto retrograde in Aquarius has been having us on an internal journey of rewiring old collective patterns. With this activation to Venus we are being shocked into an entirely new pattern of loving expression.
This is shakin’ it up for the reprogramming. You may feel a bit overwhelmed, or you might finally get to see the pattern/neuropathway that has been keeping your heart locked down.
This transit brings up those shaky themes of:
» Fear of being seen, being rejected
» Fear of changing [and losing people]
Ultimately this comes down to… “If I become more myself, people won’t stay”. Thank god, let them leave. There are others waiting desperately to love the version you’re finally stepping into.
✦ Friday, June 19 — Chiron enters Taurus
…Ouchie.
We are shifting from the identity wound of Chiron in Aries — Who am I? Can I exist? Can I take up space? — into the worth, safety, abundance, and embodiment wound of Chiron in Taurus.
This is shifting our collective into examining our relationship with our worth, abundance, physical safety, and love.
As this six/seven [stop] year transit moves into our experience there is going to be a lot of people wrestling with scarcity mindsets. Not having enough, fearing it’ll be taken from you. Hoarding material goods, self soothing through pleasure.
This connects to how we relate to our body too. Our relationship to food, our vessel, sleep — meeting our physical needs. This is going to be present.
So, I invite you to bring into your awareness what you reach for when you don’t feel safe: Food, shopping, scrolling, overworking, numbing through substances. Holding onto people/things/jobs/identities because they create the illusion of security. Avoiding [good] risk. Staying in your comfort zone.
The deeper thread we are looking into is: is this actually nourishing me, or is it just keeping me from feeling the wound?
The healing → realizing that the safety, security, values, & love we desire are not found in the material world. Surprise. It’s nestled in your heart.
✦ Sunday, June 21 — Sun enters Cancer, Sun sextile Chiron
Cancer season begins as the Sun meets its peak height here in the Northern hemisphere. We are washed into the arms of the mother, the sweet metaphorical ocean of feeling.
The Cancer part of your natal chart is now center stage and illuminated. This draws in themes around emotions. Inviting in a bit more tenderness, vulnerability, and sweet expression.
As the Sun enters Cancer, there is a beautiful supportive sextile to Chiron. I really love this configuration. Instead of Chiron entering Taurus alone, the Sun in Cancer takes the hand of this wounded healer and wraps them in a supportive space of emotional expression.
This emotional safety that is present allows us to tap into this new wound without too much pressure. Allowing the safety to feel the ache, to acknowledge that something new is asking to be tended to. Yes, it is okay to cry. It is okay to try something new even if it pushes an edge of newness. Ask for support. Let yourself feel & express.
