It is here — that’s right, our bi-yearly eclipse portal is upon us. I am sure you’ve felt the looming build up of this potent time. Slowly slinking closer, activating some sort of response in you: fight, flight, freeze — doom scrolling, laying on the floor, eating-
However you’ve been activated, it doesn’t come as a surprise for me. My community has been speaking to lethargy, irritation, tension all bubbling up. This upcoming week has a bit more than just an Eclipse, as all of our personal planets have (or will be) moved into new signs. Specifically Venus & Mercury will be key players this week, inviting us into engaging with our newly found societal structure that has been slowly forming. [Re: Barbault’s Basket]

Eclipse Portal Invitation…
At the beginning of this year I hosted a container to hold to profound expansion & contraction that is our eclipses. The two weeks that land between a Solar & Lunar Eclipse are deep initiation points that usher in new themes and close our old ones.
I will be hosting this container through The Inner Circle, I’ve opened the doors & will be closing them on August 11th to maintain the integrity of the portal.

The Transits
✦ Monday, August 10 — Venus trine Pluto, Venus opposing Neptune
Venus only gets a moment to herself before she is in connection with both Pluto and Neptune. With these outer planets activating our hearts — we are faced with multiple perspectives, multiple points of view.
Venus in trine with our Pluto ℞ in Aquarius is yummy in such a unique way. Pluto ℞ has been having us investigate our own part in the collective programming. Where have you been a part of the bigger story & how do you wish to alter that?
Inviting Venus in Libra into that introspection allows us to name the patterns to others around us that we are actively breaking. Connection with others actively moving through similar reprogramming. There is healing available here to be seen mid-process. Not as a fully ‘healed’ person, but someone moving through this unraveling. This is letting our personal metamorphosis become something that connects us rather than isolates us.
Naming the opposition… Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, bringing in unconditional love. While Venus in Libra wants to be seen as put together, presentable, and diplomatic → Neptune ℞ in Aries is inviting in a deeper inquiry about self love and putting the self first as a collective healing balm.
Can you see self-love as holding the entirety of ourselves, not just the socially acceptable version? That is where this opposition is activated. Where we get to see the person underneath the pretty exterior — what is underneath? Do you only show your acceptable side, or are you willing to be witnessed in your messy, raw human self?
✦ Tuesday, August 11 — Mars enters Cancer, Mercury opposing Pluto, Mercury trine Neptune, Venus trine Uranus
Another active day filled with transits — as I speak of them, you’ll find a collective thread woven between each aspect.
Mars moving into Cancer is… action that is emotionally charged. I invite you all to reflect on the Mercury in retrograde and remember what feelings were surfacing. Mars is here to take radical action on what was moved — big feelings, big expression. Mars in Cancer in general brings action to feelings, emotions, and those things that stir our emotional realm.
Mercury makes an opposition to Pluto ℞ — adding to that previous configuration of the basket we had a few weeks ago. This brings in language to this space. Our voice clashes with collective programming, a bubbling desire to say what has been beneath the surface rises. There is a clear power dynamic here — who gets heard? who gets celebrated? who is deciding whose voice matters? your individual voice matters precisely because it contributes something different to the whole.
Mercury makes a trine to Neptune as well, supporting our voice in advocating for our deepened self love journey. Find love moving through what you say, even if it challenges old programming within you and others around you.
Venus in Libra trining Uranus is a beautiful addition to this expressive Mercury configuration. This configuration invites in unexpected perspective shifts — lightning fast curiosity that may take you by surprise. New conversations surfacing, new relational possibilities.
All of these transits together really are opening us up to new expressive avenues. It may feel uncomfortable for a moment, but learning anything new comes with being humbled around ‘not knowing’. So soften, explore.
✦ Wednesday, August 12 — Solar Eclipse in Leo, Mars sextile Chiron, Mercury sextile Uranus
Don’t worry — this Solar Eclipse in Leo will have its very own Newsletter. But, to give you a glimpse into our week’s showstopper:
We are being brought to a level of exposure that burns away any false aspects of our true light. The unconscious mind being brought to a deeper awareness of what is truly your light verses what was adopted to fit into the status quo. This Solar Eclipse is a reclamation of innocence within self-expression.
With the 3rd decan rulership of this lunation — we are brought into tense environments that really test what is true within us. What is worth fighting for? What is worth defending. Conflict here reveals your true values. When we are backed against a wall, what clarity emerges? This is a time to trust yourself even while people question you.
With Mars — the planetary ruler of this decan now in Cancer, our feelings become fuel to the fire. The sextile to Chiron ℞ invites in opportunity to defend the tender parts rather than shaming it. In turn, emotional responses are your doorway to understand your wounds around value you’ve already been exploring. What are your feelings trying to communicate here?
Mercury sextiles Uranus this day too — so much happening. This brings in even more potent insights. Downloads, new ideas arriving quickly. Your mouth might be moving a bit quicker than normal. Uranus in Gemini is our collective antenna and this is a direct connection to our voice. Pay attention to unexpected thoughts, insights, or conversations.
✦ Thursday, August 13 — Mercury sextile Venus
Venus and Mercury now meet in a saucy sextile. As they’ve met with a ton of the outer planets this week, there’s gonna be some delicious goss. [thats gossip]. This is a beautiful configuration to speak about what was revealed during the opening of the Eclipse to start.
This is a supportive day to name feelings, to have smoother conversations. Connection creates vulnerability here and is exactly the healing balm to ground what we’ve moved through. As you share your own healing, it becomes collective medicine for those you’re in connection with.
So, share. Write, speak — create.
✦ Saturday, August 15 — Mercury conjunct Jupiter
Somethin’ about being on a soapbox here.
Jupiter expands whatever it comes into contact with, no matter if it is good or bad. This transit is like holding a megaphone to your voice. There may be more access to a larger platform or audience, access to share loudly.
There is stupid yet amazing confidence here. What you choose to do with that is up to you — a word of caution is to reflect on what the Eclipse is stirring within you and making sure it is reflective of your authenticity.
Now that I gave you a little warning… the beauty of this transit is bringing together fun connection. Think of it like gathering around a campfire with friends and sharing stories. Story telling creates deeper connection, brings in the addition of individuality into the collective flame.
