Hi my little spring chickens, this week has fewer transits, but it is precisely the kind of week that will be setting us up for some more impactful ones in the coming weeks.
With Mars moving into Aries it is going to bring in some much needed action towards moving into this new phase of our lives. As we’ve moved from this heavy emphasis of Pisces energy into this vibrant yet naïve energy of Aries, we are being tested to test out the newness of… self.
Bear with me here, you’ve felt it, haven’t you? Something small, new… growing within you - excited and unafraid. Yet still a bit wobbly with a drop of unsure energy. Much like a parent has to let their baby try to stand on its own, we have to broaden the gap of safety to allow room to grow.
Babe, you’re going through a growth spurt. Its no wonder why nothing feels like it fits you just right anymore…

I cannot express how much I love the potential of this transit. There is so much mastery available as both planets rest at the 29th degree. Potency, power, a hint of serious nature. A last push before we enter an entirely new script.
Mars on the threshold of entering Aries is met with the opportunity for spiritual evolution, growing into something that has yet to manifest — he has been tested in ways that is nearly impossible to understand. Trials and tribulations of the spiritual realms, but this transit offers reward for the work that he has put in.
Uranus resting at the final degree of Taurus brings an unexpected abundance, value, and worth. I cannot lie, this will look vastly different for each and everyone reading this. Uranus is unexpected energy, even I as an astrologer cannot accurately depict how Uranus will cast his lightning. What parts of you will be illuminated…
…But what I do know is that those of you who have remained steadfast to your dedication of spiritual devotion will be rewarded handsomely. As this is Mars, my mind cannot help but slip into my familiar terrain of martial arts. The closest thing I can relate this to is someone finally receiving their energetic black belt after the chaos we’ve moved through with the eclipses, Mercury retrograde — and all the planets moving into Aries.
Your devotion to continuing to explore untouched emotional terrain within your psyche will pay off. You have been doing work that cannot be seen with the eye, but everyone around you will begin to feel into the visceral shift of how you carry your energy.
✦ Thursday, April 9 — Mars enters Aries, Mercury out of shadow
Get ready to hit the ground running. We’ve been waiting for the light to turn green and it is here — now.
Mars steps out of his spiritual retreat in Pisces and is now being asked to wield that mastery in his home sign of Aries. Don’t lose that center as this momentum sends you running towards everything you’ve been holding in your minds eye.
Big emphasis on HOME SIGN — Aries is naturally the ruler of Mars, and vice versa. This is act first, think second. Get ready to ask for forgiveness instead of permission as this movement creates the desire to add motion to your new identity that has been waiting for Mars to breathe life into it.
…Mars here can be a bit… impulsive and naïve. The need to get your desires met immediately can bring in rage that is clouded by “me, me, me” so be mindful of allowing yourself to return back to your “why” each day. Again, the lessons of Pisces still ring true.
Movement here is important, not just on your dreams and goals [which please, still do] but like… moving your body. Get into lifting, martial arts, running for the sake of running. If you are not channeling this fire into something it will eat you alive (:
Now…. I remember looking back on this day during the Mercury retrograde in Pisces… how ironic it was that Mercury would be exiting his post retrograde shadow as Mars entered Aries.
Reiterating: This is GO time.
This isn’t just action returning, but clarity too. It is like the fog is settling and we can see the lessons we’ve been learning regarding this specific retrograde. This shift is where we can allow hesitation to fall by the wayside and begin chasing after the sweet dreams of our desires.

✦ Sunday, April 12 — Mars conjunct Neptune
Neptune in Aries to me is the planetary embodiment of the Magick of unconditional Self Love. It is big, it is bold. It is also encouraging us to pour into self first and allow the love to ripple out from within.
…So when we add Mars to this mix with a conjunction, this brings tangible action around embodying that energy. This is really, truly taking the steps towards action in your devotion to yourself.
I can almost imagine Mars moving through a portal of unconditional self love as he steps through this conjunction. Allowing love to be the guiding light. Leading with heart first, but there is the fact that Neptune can… blur the boundaries a bit. Where a touch of rose colored tint may cloud your perspective — but let yourself hold that vision as the highest potential and continue forwards.
Understand that with this transit, whatever action you take towards yourself and your growth in your new identity will ripple out. Each act of self love is a greater addition to the collective conciousness.
This is you choosing to move your body, choosing to post the video because it brings you so much joy. This is supporting your dreams by investing in the program that creates excitement. Whatever it is for YOU this is actually for the greater good of everyone else. You may not see its ripple in the present, but each person you touch with your authenticity will be blessed to embrace the same.
